This week's challenge - to celebrate the International Day of Peace.
My Pinwheel:
Pinwheel for Peace Tangles: Atorm & Unyun |
Atorm is a great tangle that I found this week on Mafê Mavromati's blog, Tangle Brasil, and Unyun is an old favourite of mine from Carole Ohl.
I chose to use just these two... however, I feel now that it looks a little too busy to be peaceful!
How many tangles did you use? Did you choose them for a reason?
Happy tangling...
Claire
I don't think it is to busy. The atorm indeed is a great tangle. I have never done it but it looks great on your pinwheel. Great job! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Didisch. I think atorm is going to become one of my favourites.
DeleteVery nicely done. I do like the tangle Atorn you found. One for the future.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chrissie, and I look forward to seeing your use of atorm in the future.
DeleteI think it's not to busy, it's very nice. Thamks for sharing this Atorm tangle!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne, I've just checked out your pinwheel and it's fantastic. I haven't tried a Zendala yet... I'm thinking I should.
DeleteA nice tangle, Claire
ReplyDeleteLovely choice of patterns :) Looks great.
ReplyDeleteThe Unyun gives it a nice twirly feel and I love the new pattern. Made for a dynamic pinwheel. Gotta add it to my collection. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. This is the first I've seen of both the patterns you used. You've given me some good ideas. I don't think your pinwheel looks busy at all, in fact I enjoy its sense of movement.
ReplyDeleteContrasting so beautiful this pinwheel really shines!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your lovely comments!
