Zendala Dare 27

Erin gave us this template for the Zendala Dare last Saturday over on her blog, The Bright Owl:

Zendala Dare 27

I didn't find this challenge easy, as there were many small spaces... but I did enjoy the process and zoning out for a few hours on a Friday evening is always welcome!

So here she is:

Before shading
(which always scares me a little because I'm worried I might screw it up!)

After shading!
Tangles: Stoic; Hypnotic; Crescent Moon, Yincut

A few more details

And here are some of my recent Zendalas:
Dare 25; Dare 26

I'm looking forward to the next one!

Happy tangling...
Claire

  2. I haven't even begun to experiment with shading....I think I am going to screw up just with the tangles ;)....this is very cool.

  3. Yes, one can see that shading makes a difference in artwork. Great how you took photo's in close up, is very helpfull for people who don't know how to shade. I always look to examples of other tanglers to see what part of the tangle should be shaded. Thanx for sharing this with us.
